I was born in 1992, shortly after German reunification, in post-GDR Germany, and live and work in Berlin, where I maintain my studio.

I studied Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts Dresden (HfBK Dresden) until 2017. Afterwards, I continued as a Meisterschülerin in Christian Macketanz’s class for two years.

My painting moves between figuration and abstraction. I am interested in the space where both approaches meet and in finding a balance between them rather than committing to either one. This tension is a recurring element in my work.

Photography, both analogue and digital, has also been a recurring part of my practice, often with a documentary approach. Its influence is sometimes visible in my paintings.

Alongside my artistic practice, I work as an App Growth Marketing Manager and have been working in the app and health tech sector for more than five years.
